We like to show our does at different stages of  maturity so there are quite a few photos on this page.  Due to our large herd size we have decided to list the does ages 4 and over as mature does and give the 3 year olds their own page.

Wild Heart has a typical Panama Jack udder being high, wide, well extended in the fore with small, pretty teats.  She has shown well, always placing 1st or 2nd in her class.  We would like to see her rump more like her sister Abby's.  She has leveled out more with each freshening, but is still a bit steep.  She has produced impressive daughters with each freshening.

Wild Heart still looks good at 10 years old.

Caitlyn's pride and joy, Bree is totally spoiled!!  Caitlyn will not allow anyone else to show her and loves to share bananas with her!  Bree has improved with each freshening.  She is an extremely correct four year old.  She has straight forelegs, sharp withers, a long lean neck, gorgeous rump and a very well attached udder.

We were disappointed that Bree's linear score went down.  She looks even better than last year.

Bree now has 2 Gideon daughters that are beautiful, Altrece Chelsea and Altrece Raven.  She is still beautiful at 8 years old.

Montana is very eye-catching with an uphill walk, smooth motion and correct feet and legs.  She has a very pretty udder with  good teat size and shape.   She is beginning to really make her mark in our herd.   She consistently produces excellent offspring regardless of whom she is bred to.  We kept her 2006 son sired by Aragorn and we repeated that very successful breeding.

Flowers was my pick of the 2002 milking yearlings and her second freshening proves what a beautiful doe she is maturing into.  Her mammary is beautifully attached and well extended in the fore.  She won her class the only time we showed her in 2002 as a milking yearling.  She is pictured to the right winning a competitive 2 year old class in April 2003, and was part of our 1st place Dairy Herd at the same show.

Flowers again won her class at the Pima County Fair and was part of the 2004 1st place dairy herd.

Amber is my absolute favorite of the 2001 kid crop.  She is tall,  sharp and long bodied -- extremely correct in general appearance and dairy character.  She easily earned her dry leg also going BIS as a dry yearling.  This doe has a wonderful personality in addition to being an outstanding show animal.  Amber is another example of the style we are breeding for.  She has several exceptional daughters in our herd. Her son, Altrece Amber's Alladin, sired by Jrumalon is working in the Lesniak Hill herd in NY.

Amber was Res. GCH on July 12th, 2003 to a finished doe earning another restricted leg. She was Res.GCH to Montana Heart on May 15, '04 and GCH in both rings of our May 29 show!

Red Ridinghood is a favorite for her adorable face and sweet disposition.  She freshened with a shapely, high, wide mammary system.  She has a level top line and great spring of rib.  She earned 1 GCH milking leg and 1 Res. GCH on May 25th, 2003.

Bramble in April 2005

She may not be a large doe but she is excellent in structure and perhaps the most productive doe in the herd.

   Bramble was 6 x BOB in 2006!
Bramble is still milking 7 lbs per day at 330 days fresh.

BOB at both of the 2007 shows we attended so far!

Altrece Tazoberry
twin to Bramble

Tazo is a longer, taller version of Brambleberry.  She has a lovely rear udder and a smoothly blended foreudder that could use a bit more forward extension.  She has her dry leg and a BJDIS win.  We took her to her first milking show in August 2005 where she was 4 x 1st.  She was complimented on her lovely general appearance, dairy character and rear udder.  Considering the fact that she freshened almost two weeks early on January 30th, her lactation has been very level and she continues to fill her udder easily.

 August 2005

Tazo has two very pretty two year olds in the herd sired by *B Lucky Star's QK Platinum Paint.

In 2007 she had triplets by Jolt, 2D 1B.  She is milking extremely well.

Breeze had never left the farm until September 2004 when we took her to the Yavapai County Fair.  As a yearling she had a severely bent right front leg due to a mineral deficiency. It is about 85% improved so we thought we'd show her.  She placed 2nd in a very competitive 2 year old class and was part of the 1st place Sr. Get of Sire for Dreamhaven Hannah Montana with sisters Heart and Montana Sky.  Breeze has a tremendous will to milk and is a deep bodied, easy keeping doe.  Her 3 year old daughter by Gideon is very promising.

Dallas is exceptional as a 3 year old.  Her first show out she was Res. CH to her dam, Montana Sky!  Dallas has pink pigment on both sides of her rear udder arch, so you have to look carefully to see where her udder really is.  Dallas was part of our first place Generations class with her dam Montana Sky and her daughter Rio 2 years in a row.  Her Cairo daughter Savannah has finished her CH for her owner Beth Kennelley.

This line has a tremendous will to milk.  Dallas, her dam and aunts come out FULL at every milking.

This doe is what we are looking for in body type and style! She has her dry leg and a BIS win. Legally has improved with each freshening.  She has matured so nicely over the past two years. I love going back and looking at her yearling photos and then looking at her now!  She has filled out her beautiful frame and is milking very well.  She reminds us so much of the White Knight daughters.  In addition to being high headed, long and level over the topline and correct in feet and legs she has a wonderful personality. This doe is ideal in angularity in my mind and is a great example of excellence in dairy character.
