April 2007:
Most of our does have kidded
now. We have about 10 adults and a group of yearlings left. We
plan to offer all doe kids from the yearlings for sale. These would
be from show quality dams only. All of these kids will be sired by
our Gideon x Extasia son. He is a gorgeous deep red buckling.
He has his sires excellent bone and is long and level over the topline.
He should throw excellent mammary systems like his brothers! There
will be several double Gideon kids born in this group.
May 2007:
Cheese and milk sales continue to grow. We are hoping to sell more cheese
wholesale and attend the Farmer's Markets every other week instead of
every week. It is very tiring doing all of the chores, making
product and getting it to the market.
